Kyoto - based Summer Cuisine by Motokazu Nakamura

EVA Air has teamed up with Michelin three - starred Kyoto - based chef Motokazu Nakamura to create new summer Kyoto-style cuisine for Royal Laurel Class/Premium Laurel Class/ Business Class passengers flying to Tokyo and Osaka.

The main course is traditional Japanese BBQ filleted eel with sansho powder.The hassun course includes treats like surf clam and vegetable skewers and young corn in jelly, while the kobachi course features diced shrimps and summer vegetables in jelly served with sesame cream sauce. Finishing off the meal, the dessert course consists of roasted tea-flavored tapioca-paste cake served with wasanbon brown sugar syrup.
