Rail & Fly – the train offer from anywhere in Germany to the airport of Amsterdam

Rail & Fly is an offer for rail travel by DB Deutsche Bahn / German Railway Company to/from all German railway stations and the EVA AIR departure airport of Amsterdam.

Rail & Fly is valid on the day of departure in Amsterdam and the day before. From Amsterdam it is valid the day of arrival in Amsterdam and the following day.

The journey times state in the EVA AIR flight reservation system, published by QYG (Railway Germany) under the Carrier code 9B (AccesRail) of EVA AIR, are no real-time train connection data.

After booking and ticket issue you will receive your EVA AIR reservation and ticket number and the home print website information to print out the Rail & Fly ticket from internet 72 hours before the respective journey. Open the website www.accesrail.com/checkin, enter your name and flight number or booking code (PNR) and print the ticket – one for the outbound travel, and one for the return journey, following the same process. In case of loss you can log on to the AccesRail website and print the ticket again.

For the train journey the following documents are absolutely required:

  • Rail & Fly ticket (must be printed before the rail journey)
  • Flight schedule / itinerary receipt
  • Valid passport / identity card

The Rail & Fly entitles the passenger to travel to/from any railway station in Germany and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport v.v. valid to travel on direct way on all DB Deutsche Bahn / German Railway Company trains, using ICE, IC, EC D trains. The product class ICE Sprinter and City Night Line trains are subject to payment of a supplement and reservation of DB Deutsche Bahn / German Railway Company.

For DB real-time train schedule please contact DB Travel Center or go to www.bahn.de to check the times of train connections on your travel date and to plan your train journey well in advance. Please note the check-in times of EVA AIR and choose a train connection so as to arrive at the check-in desk at least 3 hours before flight departure. DB is not liable in case of train delay.

For rebooking or cancellation of your journey including DB Deutsche Bahn / German Railway Company sectors, the related fare rule will apply and passenger should contact EVA AIR office www.evaair.com.
