This July marks the first anniversary of EVA Airlines partnership with Yuen Foong Yu Group's Green & Safe Foods. The brand is known for its delicious homestyle dishes made using local ingredients and traditional recipes.

New this month is Xiulan Sumei Chili Chicken, made using Aunt Xiulan and Aunt Sumei's recipe. Chili peppers are first cooked over a slow fire, then tempered by the addition of miso and sesame oil. The resulting sauce, which has the sweet aroma of fermented rice, is used to stir-fry cubes of meat from free-range chickens.   

Royal Laurel, Premium Laurel and Business Class passengers flying to Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin will be able to enjoy this delicious dish jointly created by EVA Air and Green & Safe Foods.
