Our pledge to customers is readily demonstrated by our handling of perishables and valuable artwork. From the beginning, EVA has transported exotic, fragile fruit as special cargo from Bangkok to Taipei, and worldwide. Unlike other airlines that haul perishables by freighter only, EVA Air carries fruit in special compartments on both passenger and cargo flights. EVA Air personnel are skilled in packing and experts at regulating aircraft temperatures. Passengers travel in complete comfort, and are not disturbed in any way by the fruit.
Frequently, we are entrusted with transporting priceless artworks around the world. For example, we had the honor of carrying a special exhibition from the Louvre to Taipei.
