Taipei-Sydney frequencies will be increased from two to three per week and an additional Taipei-Brisbane flight will provide four flights per week, greatly enhancing the Australia service.

EVA Air took delivery of its first A330-200 in mid-2003 and currently has six in service. It is expected to introduce the next four in April, May, July and October of 2005 respectively. The newly purchased A330-200 will be delivered to EVA Air in June 2006. The destinations now served by EVA's A330-200 include Tokyo, Osaka, Vienna, Hong Kong, Macau, Bangkok and Manila.
EVA Air's A330-200s are configured with 24 Premium Laurel and 228 Economy Class seats. Premium Laurel is a first class style service equipped with flat beds, a 61-inch seat pitch, the most advanced in-flight entertainment system and sumptuous cuisine. It is, in effect, a first class service with a business class fare and has enjoyed extremely positive feedback from passengers since its launch.
EVA Air now has 50 aircraft including six B747-400 all passenger, nine B747-400 combi, four B747-400 freighters, eight B767, 13 MD-11 freighters, four MD-90s and six A330-200s. In addition to the new A330-200 aircraft, it will introduce a fleet of 15 B777 starting commencing during 2005. |
