EVA Adds Hello Kitty Route to Tokyo Starting Nov. 10
Hello Kitty Jet is 90 percent full after first week of Fukuoka service

Hello Kitty fans can fly to Tokyo onboard EVA Air’s Hello Kitty Jet, starting on 10 Nov., 2005 and make reservations now via www.evaair.com, any EVA reservations offices, or travel agency.  Launched with daily flights to Fukuoka on 22 Oct., the world’s first Hello Kitty Jet has already created a hot travel trend. and achieved a 90 per cent load factor.  The added route is EVA’s gift to Hello Kitty fans and friends, and to fun-loving travelers.

EVA Kitty Jet to Narita is afternoon flight of BR2196, departing Taipei’s Chiang Kai-Shek International Airport at 15:05 and arriving at Tokyo’s Narita International Airport at 19:00.  Return flight BR2195 departs Narita at 20:00 and arrives back in Taipei at 22:50.  Tokyo is the most popular destination in Japan for Taiwanese travelers, and deployment of  Kitty Jet to Narita makes travel aboard the specially painted and outfitted aircraft available for more to enjoy.  Hello Kitty packages introduced with the Fukuoka service have sold extremely fast.  EVA is now working with travel agents to design more inclusive travel featuring the Hello Kitty theme park in Tokyo and a series of creatively designed Hello Kitty package tours. EVA and Sanrio Company, Ltd. teamed up to design the innovative make-believe character-themed jet and unveiled it on 20 Oct.  The new Airbus A330-200 features Kitty with her family and friends in larger-than-life poses on both sides of the aircraft.  EVA’s flight attendants wear Hello Kitty aprons.  Passengers get Hello Kitty boarding passes, luggage tags and inflight service accessories, dine on Hello Kitty meals, and enjoy exclusive EVA Air Hello Kitty duty-free shopping.  Travelers, friends and fans can also visit the EVA Air Hello Kitty Web site in Chinese and Japanese languages at http://www.evakitty.evaair.com.
