EVA Air to launch Taipei - Nagoya service and increase frequency to Osaka

EVA Air will launch a new service Taipei – Nagoya service on July 10, 2006 with five scheduled flights per week.  At the same time, the carrier’s Taipei-Osaka service will increase from 7 flights per week to 9, raising again to 11 weekly flights with the introduction of the winter schedule in October.

Nagoya will become the carrier's sixth destination in Japan. Services will depart on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Flight BR2126 from Taipei to Nagoya will depart CKS airport at 08:15, arriving in Nagoya at 12:00. The return flight BR2125 will leave Nagoya at 13:00 arriving at CKS airport at 15:00. A330-200 aircraft will be deployed on the route with 24 Premium Laurel business class seats and 228 seats in the Economy Class cabin - a total capacity of up to 252 passengers.
EVA Air has designed special new tour packages for “ Evergreen Holiday – evasion “ featuring both Nagoya and Osaka, renowned as hot spring destinations, available immediately. Combinations include Nagoya; Nagoya with

Osaka; Nagoya with Gero, site of one of the top three hot springs in Japan, and the traditional streets of Takayama. The twice-yearly Takayama Matsuri festival is one of Japan’s most famous traditional events.
 
EVA Air's service network to Japan currently includes Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sapporo and Sendai. The launch of Nagoya flights and increased frequencies to Osaka will provide comprehensive, convenient and flexible scheduled services to Japan from EVA Air’s Taipei hub.
