While allocation of the other three is based on the airline alliance groups, EVA shares its new lounge with eight other independent, non-affiliated airlines, including Air India, Air Tahiti Nui, China Airlines, China Eastern, El Al Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Mexicana Airlines and Philippine Airlines. The Los Angeles International Airport began refurbishing the Tom Bradley International Terminal in Oct. 2006 and is wrapping up construction now.
