EVA is also printing 2 million Flora boarding passes and luggage tags for travelers who are collectors and those who simply love flowers. The airline will introduce its Flora Cabins on flights within Asia in early 2010. At the same time, it will promote the Taipei International Flora Expo on all of its flights worldwide.
While Flora Expo officials continue to be immersed in planning, international outreach and promotion, more than 29 countries and 42 cities have applied for exhibit space. Transportation capacity and reach are critical to success for an event of this scale due to the millions of green and flowering plants needed to fill the vast halls and pavilions, in addition to all of the people who will be participating and attending. When Expo officials selected EVA as the event’s official carrier, they secured safe, convenient and comfortable transportation. They also increased incentives for international visitors. It’s a partnership that’s bound to be beneficial for both the city of Taipei and EVA Air.
EVA serves a worldwide network of major business and leisure destinations in Asia, Oceania, Europe and North America. It offers more trans-Pacific flights with one-stop connections in Taipei to more destinations in Asia than any other airline. EVA also provides both passenger and air cargo services. Its North American passenger gateways are Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Newark/New York and Vancouver. |
