EVA Air and All Nippon Airways launched joint services on all flights from Taipei to Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya, Sendai and Sapporo. From April 1st, 2008, both airilines adds Osaka-Los Angeles route into joint service context.

This joint service includes code-sharing, through baggage check-in, joint operating schedules, VIP lounge access, Frequent Flyer Program benefits, and cooperative development of marketing programs. It was EVA Air's earliest cooperative alliance with another airline.

Passengers and cargo from Japan can easily make connections to Hong Kong, Macau, Auckland, Penang and Bangkok through Taipei using All Nippon Airways's and EVA's cooperative network. Passengers and cargo from Taiwan can connect to other major cities in Japan through All Nippon Airways's system in Japan just as easily. This cooperative arrangement makes transportation between Taiwan and Japan more accessible and convenient than ever.
