Travelers Say EVA’s Business Amenities Best, Cabins Cleanest SKYTRAX reveals World Airline Award winners at Paris Air Show
EVA Air is continuing its winning ways by taking the top spot in two categories of SKYTRAX’s annual World Airline Awards, Best Airline Cabin Cleanliness and Best Business Class Comfort Amenities. SKYTRAX also confirmed that EVA is upholding its commitment to quality service as one of only nine 5-Star Airlines worldwide and ranks among the World’s Top 10 Airlines of 2017. The awards were determined through analyses of an extensive global passenger satisfaction survey that featured 320 airlines in the final results. EVA also ranks second for World’s Best Airport Services and third for World’s Best Cabin Staff. SKYTRAX began rating EVA in 2008 and the airline has steadily updated, upgraded and improved service and products from check-in through the onboard experience and baggage claim. For example, EVA installed easy-to-read electronic maps in airport and introduced turn-down service for Royal Laurel Class passengers on long-haul flights aboard Boeing 777-300ERs. The review and ranking organization awarded EVA 5-Star Airline ranking for the first time in 2016.

SKYTRAX conducted its survey in English, Spanish and Chinese among 19.87 million eligible respondents between August 2016 and May 2017. The global ratings organization describes the survey as “independent, impartial and global” and its awards program is not-for-profit.

TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, honored EVA Air with two distinctions, “Top 10 Major Airline in Asia Pacific” and “Best Airline – Taiwan.” SKYTRAX, Travel + Leisure and AirlineRatings.com have ranked it among the world’s Top-10 Best International Airlines multiple times.

And Business Traveller Magazine awarded EVA two Gold Medals in its annual Cellars in the Sky competition, one for Best Business Class Cellar and the other for Best Business Class Sparkling Wine.
