EVA Air recently learned that scammers claiming to be with our company are randomly e-mailing questionnaires, offering cash or miles to trick passengers into providing personal information and credit card details. EVA Air has thoroughly checked all of our operational and security systems and confirmed that there has not been a breach and any other infringement. We are continuing to investigate and work with police to identify the culprits and stop these criminals.
EVA Air never asks passengers to provide personal information or credit card details by e-mail. Please be alert to any suspicious or unsolicited e-mails. Scammers try to get personal data by deception. For information about EVA Air’s "Customer Online Security," please go to our official website, www.evaair.com.
