EVA Air Enhances COVID-19 Preventive Measures, passengers Required to Take a Forehead Temperature before Boarding and Wear a Mask Onboard
According to the regulation of Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC), in response to the continued spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), EVA Air has taken the following preventive measures to keep our crew and passengers healthy and safe onboard.
- All passengers have to take a forehead temperature before boarding and their measurements must be lower than 37.5 ℃ (99.5℉). If their temperatures exceed this standard or if they fail to comply with this requirement, the passengers can be denied boarding.
- Except for having meals or drinks, passengers are required to wear face masks throughout the flight to minimize the risk of infection.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
