Handling Guideline for Aircraft Change of YVR BR09/10 Flights

1. Eligibility

Passengers holding BR(695)/B7(525) Premium Economy tickets with confirm booking from/to TPE-YVR V.V.

A. Ticket issued date: on/before 15MAY, 2020 , and

B. Travel Date: between 01JUN,2020 and 30JUN,2020, and

C. No Premium Economy class service available due to aircraft changed.

2. Applicable period

The application must be submitted on/before 30JUN,2020

3. Provisions of Rebooking/Reissue

A. Passengers may choose any of the options below without change fee for ONE transaction and the ticket should be reissued accordingly.

(a). EVA will re-accommodate passengers in the Economy class of the same flight booked and collect/refund the fare difference reassessed based on the historical fare; or

(b). Passengers may choose to rebook to any other economy class or business class of the same route booked and pay/refund the fare difference reassessed based on the historical fare; or

(c) Passengers may change to any SEA/LAX/SFO flights operated by BR with the same booking class on Premium Economy class as the original ticket and pay/refund the fare/tax differences reassessed based on the historical fare.

B. For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact the original issuing agents for rebooking and ticket change.

4. Refund

A. If the re-accommodations were not accepted by the passengers, involuntary refunds may be arranged as below and refund fee of the ticket and/or ancillary service will be exempted.

B. For tickets purchased or modified from EVA AIR official website, please submit a refund application through EVA AIR website. For tickets purchased from EVA/UNI AIR ticketing channels, please contact EVA/UNI AIR reservation and ticketing office to arrange a refund.

C. For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact your travel agent for refunds.

5. No-show passengers will not be exempted from no-show fee.

6. Refund fee will be charged if the ticket has been changed with reissue waived.

7. Award ticket and upgrade with mileages

A. Award tickets-

(a). The service fee of USD$50 can be waived once. Any mileage difference will be collected or returned if the new itinerary requires more or less miles than the original one. Expired miles are exempt from collection.

(b). If an award ticket contains three segments or above with different route, zone or booking class, mileage deduction will be redeemed according to the higher cost one.

B. Upgrade awards-

Rebook the original ticket class, or change itinerary with new required mileage. Any mileage differences will be collected (returned).

C. Please contact EVA Air reservation offices for rebooking and ticket change.

1. Eligibility

For passengers holding EVA/UNI AIR tickets with confirmed booking on EVA/UNI AIR international、cross-strait and Hong Kong/Macau flights

A. (a) Original Ticket issued date : on/before 2020-05-07 , and

    (b) Current Ticketed Flight date :

B. Regardless the ticket issuing date, for passenger’s flight date between 2020-06-01 and 2020-06-30, who are not entitled to enter/transfer or required to isolate/quarantine based on each country's regulation for COVID-19 (related documents shall be attached).

C. For eligible passengers encountered flight cancellation or schedule change with the flight date between 2020-06-01 and 2020-06-30 are also subject to this handling guideline regardless the ticket issuing date.

2. Applicable period

The application must be submitted on/before 2020-07-07.

3. Provisions of Rebooking/Reissue

A. Passengers may change the flights departing on/before 2020-12-31 within ticket validity (Only Italy route may change the flights departing till 2021) and the reissue fee will be waived for ONE transaction.

(a) Provided that no changes made on RBD and routing (city) to the new EVA/UNI AIR operated flight, and the fare/tax difference should be collected if reissue. Endorse to flights operated by other carriers is not permitted.

(b) Tickets with interline connecting flight involved, re-accommodation must be made in accordance with applicable EVA/UNI AIR fare rule within same destination (city) and the fare/tax differences should be collected.

(c) For conditions other than (a) (b) above, changes will refer to applicable EVA/UNI AIR fare rule and charge the fare/tax difference.

B. For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact the original issuing agent for rebooking and ticket change.

A. Refund fee of the tickets and/or ancillary services will be exempted.

6. For those reissued tickets with change fee waived may also exempt from cancellation fee provided the new travel date on the reissued ticket as well as the refund application date meets the criteria of this handling guideline.

10. The passenger who has been charged on/before 2020-05-07 is not allowed to reimburse the reissue/refund fee based on this bulletin.

B. For passengers holding EVA/UNI AIR tickets with confirmed bookings on EVA/UNI AIR international、cross-strait and Hong-Kong/Macao flights between 2020-05-01 and 

2020-05-31, who are not entitled to enter/transfer or required to isolate/quarantine based on each country's regulation for COVID-19 (related documents shall be attached).

C. For eligible passengers encountered flight cancelation, delay or schedule change with travel date on/before 2020-05-31 are also subject to this handling guideline regardless the ticket issuing date.

2. Applicable period

The application must be submitted on/before 2020-06-02. 

*Italy route: must be submitted on/before 2020-07-07.
