Yes, you can. Qualified passengers who check in by EVA Mobile may display the e-boarding pass to the VIP lounge staff.

Please arrive at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before the flight’s take-off time and present your travel documents to the EVA Air staff. If you have any baggage to be checked in, please check it in first at EVA Air’s exclusive check-in counter (for online self-service check-in) at the airport; our staff will give you a baggage claim slip.

Follow the steps below to save the e-boarding pass on your cellphone (make sure it is sufficiently charged!) for security checks at the boarding gate:
1.Check-in via EVA Mobile app: save your e-boarding pass under EVA Mobile app’s “My Barcodes” for offline viewing.
2.Check-in via EVA Mobile Web (http: //m.evaair.com): download the e-boarding pass and save it in your cellphone’s photo album.

Please note that e-boarding passes saved in “My Barcodes” will be automatically deleted after 14 days.

The e-boarding pass service is unavailable in the following circumstances:

  • To comply with government regulations where applicable. Passengers traveling to the US and Australia must still perform a traditional check-in.
  • Passengers who purchase a ticket online or by phone with a credit card cannot print their own boarding pass. The credit card used to purchase the tickets must be available for inspection at the airport during check-in for the first flight segment.
  • Passengers whose route includes a sector that is not eligible for the self-print boarding pass service will not be able to print boarding passes for any sectors of their voyage.
  • When the departure station does not support the e-boarding pass service.

It depends on the policies of the local airport authority. Some airports may require each passenger to display their own e-boarding pass. If passengers are unable to do so, security personnel may direct those passengers back to the check-in desk to print their boarding passes.

Mobile check-in is unavailable to the following passengers:

  • Passengers who are required to pay a fare difference or tax associated with the ticket.
  • Passengers whose flight schedule does not match the original electronic ticket.
  • Passengers traveling with infant(s).
  • Passengers under the age of 12 who are traveling unaccompanied.
  • Passengers who are not electronic ticket holders.
  • Passengers requiring assistance (such as those with medical conditions).
  • Group travel passengers (10 or more passengers in one single booking).
  • Mobile check-in is only available to passengers with ESTA clearance. If you hold a paper visa, you must use traditional check-in.
  • Passengers with an upgraded booking cannot check in online.

Passbook is an app built into iPhone with iOS 6 and up. You can use Passbook to keep your boarding passes and lounge invitations in a central location for easy access.

When you enter the airport vicinity, you will see your passes on the lock screen. You may slide to the right to use them right away. You will also receive push notifications when boarding gate or time changes.

We suggest that only one person’s passes stored and used on one device. Due to local airport regulations, you may not be permitted to use one device for more than one person for inspection processes, in which case you will be required to return to the check-in counter and obtain a printed pass.

No, but the passes will expire two days after your journey concludes. You may delete them manually.
