As soon as you complete and confirm your booking, a reservation reference number and ticket number will be displayed on the screen or such information will be provided by e-mail afterwards. Please contact us by Phone at EVA AIR Reservation if you have not received it. We will resend it to your E-mail address that you provided to us.

If you purchased the ticket on the EVA Web site, it can be refunded through our online system. The refund will be promptly processed once we receive your refund request.Any applicable refund service charge and No-Show fee will be deducted from the amount refunded.We'll process your refund back to the original credit card within 7 working days (it should appear on your statement in 1-2 billing cycles). For cash and check purchases, we’ll process your refund within 20 working days after receiving a complete refund request. If your original ticket has been reissued, refund application will be unable to process. Please contact EVA local ticketing counter toapply refund.

There are travel taxes and fees that may be required in addition to your ticket fare. Most of these are set by government authorities or airport operators at arrival and departure points. These taxes and additional charges may be included or excluded in ticket fares, and you may also be required to pay additional taxes or travel charges upon arrival or departure at an airport.

As soon as an electronic ticket is issued, all of your ticket data is stored in our electronic database. When you check-in at the airport, you can easily get your boarding pass by presenting your passport and the credit card you used to pay for the ticket.

Each transaction may only purchase a total of 9 tickets (not including infant tickets) and must contain at least 1 adult (over 16 years old), each adult may only bring 1 infant (Infant does not occupy a seat, and must be under the age of 2 while traveling.) and 1 child, or at most 3 children. Please contact our reservation & ticketing staff if you wish to book a child or infant ticket only.

If you want to change your schedule, you can do so online via CHANGE DATE/FLIGHTS. But any cancelation must contact one of our ticketing offices in advance to make the necessary changes. Otherwise the booking or ticket may not be accepted upon check-in at the airport and you may have to purchase a new ticket for travel on the desired dates and routing.

No. everyone can purchase ticket(s) and ancillary service(s) online as long as the terms and conditions are fulfilled your requirement.

The name cannot be changed, but it may be corrected or modified for the following reasons to the same passenger : 

  • Incorrect spelling
  • Reversal of first name and surname
  • An incorrect title
  • To add an alias
  • Name change is not allowed if ticket includes flights operated by other airlines or codeshare flights, purchasing a new ticket is required.


Please contact EVA Air reservation office or your travel agent for the amendment and a service fee may be charged. 


If you are an Infinity MileageLands member, please be sure your name appears on Infinity MileageLands membership materials in the same way it is shown on your passport.

Use your name as it appears on these documents to make your bookings and ensure that all your mileage credits are accumulated.

This requirement safeguards the cardholder and helps prevent credit card fraud. All passengers who purchase tickets online are required to present the credit card they used when they check in at the airport. EVA Air may reserve the right to deny boarding to passengers who fail to present the original credit card used to purchase ticket.

Yes, so long as that person is traveling on the same flight with you. If you, as the credit card holder, will not be among the travel party, you must present your credit card and passport/ legally acceptable photo ID to EVA Air and sign an indemnity form. This can be done in one of two ways:

  • Visit any EVA Air office during business hours and at least 48 hours before the passenger's scheduled departure. You must bring your credit card, passport/ legally acceptable photo ID and sign an Indemnity of Payment form
  • Visit the EVA Air counter at the airport at least one hour before scheduled departure. You must bring your credit card, passport/ legally acceptable photo ID and sign an Indemnity of Payment form

Yes, you can use the online seat selection to change your seat.

Yes, special meals are available to passengers for age, medical, dietary or religious reasons, and you can reserve one using our Web site because of any of these requirements at least 24 hours before your scheduled flight departure. If the special meal you require is not listed in our meal list online, please contact one of our reservation offices. 

If you need special meal services on another airline, please contact the other airline directly but cannot guarantee that the carrier can provide it. Special meal service depends upon whether the other airline has it available or not.

Reservations can be made from 3-7 hours (depends on flights) to 360 days before departure. Upon completion of the booking, a reservation reference number and ticket number will be generated automatically by the system.

Yes, it's secure. While you type in sensitive information such as credit card details to purchase an air ticket on the website, all your personal information will be automatically converted into codes before being securely dispatched over the Internet. Due to our online reservation has adapted to SITA CCA authorization system to obtain approval code, that it will automatically convert the currency to US dollar in order to get approval code. Some banks may send instant message to passengers immediately when this process begins to take place. Since the currency conversion depends on the international exchange rate, which changes constantly, the actual exchange rate that applies to the payment depends on when the confirmation has completed. There may be some minor differences in between the mobile message and the actual payment because the instant message is calculated in US dollar and converted to local currency via issuing bank setting.

The EVA website not only allows you to purchase tickets, but also offers the following services:

They are online security verification services launched by international card-issuers, namely Visa, MasterCard and American Express, which require the cardholders to supply both the credit card information and a personal security password to complete the authorization process, in order to prove that the transaction is made by the actual cardholders. If your card-issuer offers Verified by Visa, MasterCard® SecureCode™, American Express SafeKey® or JCB J/Secure™, our e-ticketing website will automatically take you to your card issuer’s website, where you will be required to enter your personal password.

If your card issuer does not offer such verification services, you will be required to present the credit card used in your ticketing transaction upon check-in at the airport for verification purposes, noting that the cardholder must be one of the travel companions.

If your credit card transaction has been successfully authorized through Verified by Visa or MasterCard® SecureCode or American Express SafeKey® or JCB J/Secure, you will NOT be required to present the credit card upon check-in at the airport. In addition, the cardholder does NOT need to be one of the travel companions.(However, if you have only entered the 3- (or 4-) digit card verification code on the back (or front) of the credit card, then you will still be required to present your credit card at the airport.) For any abnormal credit card transaction upon purchasing, an email will be sent to the email address provided as notification of the transaction error. We have the right to request the passenger/credit card holder to present the credit card used upon purchasing or the passenger/credit card holder may be requested to pay the flight ticket in cash before taking the flight.

Infant tickets occupying a seat may cost as much as child or an adult ticket. Please contact our Ticketing Department or your travel agency.

For bassinet, diaper and infant meal requests, please contact our Reservation Department after you purchase your tickets. A limited number of bassinets can be reserved for free on all EVA Air flights. They can be used for infants under 8 months of age due to size limitations. Our reservation specialists will assist to confirm availabilities for you.

An infant does not occupy a seat and must be less than 2 years old for the entire journey. Each infant must travel with an adult 16 years or older, so the number of infant tickets purchased must be equal or less than that of adult tickets purchased.

Each online transaction must contain at least one adult 16 years or older. To add an infant to your existing record, please contact our Ticketing Department or your travel agency.

The Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax is a tax collected on departures from airports in the United Kingdom (UK). The Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax can be identified as ‘GB’ in the tax break down section of a fare.

Keep Your Fare

Keep Your Fare is a service enable you to hold the fare you want and your booking for up to 72 hours before your ticket must be issued, and only with a small amount of fee. (Some special fares may have limited holding time of less than 72 hours. The holding time for the fare you want will be on the payment stage.) Fares available from our online booking system may vary during your holding time, but the on-hold booking will not be affected by the change.

Before the Keep Your Fare deadline, you can confirm and pay for your ticket via Manage Your Trip on EVA Air’s website or App.

Keep Your Fare is only available for bookings made at least 7 days before the flight departure. Itineraries which contain only EVA Air-operated flights with a BR flight number are eligible.

The Keep Your Fare option will be available on payment page only when your booking is eligible.

The Keep Your Fare fee is in addition to the ticket.

Whatever method of payments are supported for each market are applicable. Please be advised that Miles & Cash (deducting fare with mileage) is not eligible with Keep Your Fare service.

Keep Your Fare fee is not refundable. 

If EVA Air cancels a flight or makes a schedule change, please contact our reservation or ticketing center to cancel and refund the transaction on hold.

You can confirm and pay for your ticket via Manage Your Trip on EVA Air’s website or App before the deadline.

During the holding time, your booking is not allowed for any change. For any required change, you will have to cancel the booking or let it expire. The fee which has already charged will not be refunded.

System will automatically cancel the booking. The charge for this service will not be refunded.
