Handling Guideline for Aircraft Change of AMS & CDG BR75/76/77/78/87/88 Flights

  1. Eligibility
    Passengers holding BR(695)/B7(525) Premium Economy tickets with confirm booking from/to TPE-AMS V.V. , BKK-AMS V.V. and TPE-CDG V.V.
    1. Ticket issued date: on/before 11SEP, 2020 , and
    2. Travel Date: between 25OCT,2020 and 28MAR,2021, and
    3. No Premium Economy class service available due to aircraft changed.
  2. Applicable period
    The application must be submitted on/before 30MAR,2021.
  3. Provisions of Rebooking/Reissue
    1. Passengers may choose any of the options below without change fee and disregard the re-assessment of Booking Service Charge for ONE transaction, and the ticket should be reissued accordingly.
      1. EVA will re-accommodate passengers in the Economy class of the same flight booked and collect/refund the fare difference reassessed based on the historical fare; or
      2. Passengers may choose to rebook to any other economy class or business class of the same route booked and pay/refund the fare difference reassessed based on the historical fare.
    2. For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact the original issuing agents for rebooking and ticket change.
    3. For passengers who have reissued tickets in compliance with handling guideline due to the aircraft change, if the flights revert to aircrafts with premium economy class service afterwards, passengers who request to change back to premium economy class with same flight/date may claim a refund or pay the fare/tax differences reassessed based on the historical fare with the original booking class code, and are entitled to waive change fee and the re-assessment of Booking Service Charge for one transaction.
  4. Refunds:
    1. If the re-accommodations were not accepted by the passengers, involuntary refunds may be arranged as below and refund fee of the ticket and/or ancillary service will be exempted. The Booking Service Charge of the unused coupons may be refunded as well provided the BSC has been paid.
    2. For tickets purchased or modified from EVA AIR official website, please submit a refund application through EVA AIR website. For tickets purchased from EVA/UNI AIR ticketing channels, please contact EVA/UNI AIR reservation and ticketing office to arrange a refund.
    3. For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact your travel agent for refunds.
  5. No-show passengers will not be exempted from no-show fee.
  6. Refund fee will be charged if the ticket has been changed with reissue waived.
  7. Award ticket and upgrade with mileages
    1. Award tickets
      1. The service fee of USD$50 can be waived once. Any mileage difference will be collected or returned if the new itinerary requires more or less miles than the original one. Expired miles are exempt from collection.
      2. If an award ticket contains three segments or above with different route, zone or booking class, mileage deduction will be redeemed according to the higher cost one.
    2. If the flights revert to aircrafts with premium economy class service afterwards, passengers who request to change back to premium economy class, any mileage differences will be collected if the reissue ticket requires more miles than the original one. Expired mileage evaluation upon reissue can be waived.
      1. The service fee of USD$50 for award ticket reissuance can be waived once for Green Card members. Diamond Card/Gold Card/Silver Card members are exempted from service fee as current policy.
    3. Upgrade awards
      Rebook the original ticket class, or change itinerary with new required mileage. Any mileage differences will be collected (returned).
    4. Please contact EVA Air reservation offices for rebooking and ticket change.
    5. Upgrade requirements for flight without Premium Economy class service
