Enjoy the Sweet Taste of Italian Panettone
In Italy, eating panettone (literally “large cake”) is a holiday tradition that some say dates back to the 15th century. The legend goes that this sweet bread was first invented by an Italian nobleman named Ughetto degli Atellani, who was working at a bakery in Milan and enamored with the baker’s beautiful daughter. Today panettone is a sturdy, sweet treat filled with raisins and dried fruits.
EVA Air is pleased to welcome renowned catering group Osteria by Angie, which has specially prepared panettone for our economy-class passengers. Available on flights from Hong Kong to Taipei (with the exception of BR828/852/856), we hope you enjoy the authentic taste of this Italian treat — either the candied-fruit classic or a crowd-pleasing chocolate variation.
