EVA Air Enhances COVID-19 Preventive Measures, passengers Required to Take a Forehead Temperature before Boarding and Wear a Mask Onboard

According to the regulation of Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC), in response to the continued spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), EVA Air has taken the following preventive measures to keep our crew and passengers healthy and safe onboard.

  1. All passengers have to take a forehead temperature before boarding and their measurements must be lower than 37.5 ℃ (99.5℉). If their temperatures exceed this standard or if they fail to comply with this requirement, the passengers can be denied boarding.
  2. Except for having meals or drinks, passengers are required to wear face masks throughout the flight to minimize the risk of infection.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
