The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Star Alliance have renewed their collaboration on traveller document verification to improve the passenger experience. Star Alliance and IATA, in a signing ceremony at IATA’s 75th Annual General Meeting in Seoul, agreed that IATA’s Timatic AutoCheck solution will continue to power Automated Document Check (ADC) for Star Alliance member carriers.
Paris, France – May 7th, 2019 - Star Alliance has officially completed the refurbishment of its lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport. The 980 square metre facility offers seating for more than 220 guests and features stylish elements inspired by Parisian design and architecture. The lounge is available to First and Business Class customers as well as Star Alliance Gold members travelling from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport – Terminal 1 on the following Star Alliance member airlines: Aegean, Air China, ANA, Asiana, EGYPTAIR, EVA Air, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Turkish Airlines and United.

Frankfurt, Germany - February 13, 2019 - Star Alliance, the world’s largest airline alliance, has partnered with Skyscanner, the world’s travel search engine, to allow travellers visiting the Star Alliance website to search for flights, view airfares and book them directly with its member airlines. This feature, easily accessible alongside the popular lounge finder, flight status and other journey-related services, utilises Skyscanner’s fare search, linking directly to the alliance’s member carrier websites for purchase.
Star Alliance members EVA Air and Air New Zealand initiated a code-share agreement on 02 November, 2018, expanding service networks in Northeast Asia and Oceania. Passengers will have codeshare options from Taipei to major destinations in Japan or Seoul in South Korea operated by EVA Air, as well as codeshare options operated by Air New Zealand from Taipei to Auckland, and onto major cities in New Zealand, as well as Brisbane to both Auckland and Christchurch. Starting from the second half of December, passengers can travel on these codeshare services.
