1. Eligibility

Passengers holding EVA Air tickets (695) issued/reissued on/before 12NOV2021 with confirmed flight to/from London between 30JUN2021 and 28FEB2022 affected by the flight cancellation/schedule change.

2. Changes

(1) Within ticket validity, passengers may change free of charge for one transaction provided that:

A. Rebook to flights on/before 31MAR2022 with the same routing (city) and booking class (RBD) as originally ticketed; or 

B. Passengers who have been rebooked to flights departing on/before 31JAN2022 due to flight cancellation in accordance with the guidelines published on 29SEP2021, including those rebooking flights transferring via Paris on/before 31DEC2021, may rebook to direct flight to/from London departing on/before 31MAR2022. 

(2) Within ticket validity, Premium Economy class flights departing to/from London may be either rebooked to Business or Economy class if the Premium Economy class service is not applicable for the new flight booked. The differences of fare/tax shall be refunded or paid by passengers in accordance with the handling guideline of Aircraft Change, however, the change fee/differences of Booking Service Charge may be waived for one transaction.

(3) Within ticket validity, if passengers request to rebook to flights on/after 01APR2022 or change out of the scope of (1) or (2) above, it is considered as voluntary change and the ticket should be recalculated and reissued in accordance with the relevant fare rules. The difference of the fare/tax/booking service charge results from the change should be paid by the passenger, but the difference of tax may be refunded depending on the new flight or cabin booked. However, the change fee may be waived for one transaction. 

(4) EVA Air operated flights changed to codeshare flights or OAL flights out of the scope as above is not permitted. 

3. Refunds

(1) Refunds of the ticket and/or related ancillary services may be made in accordance with provisions of involuntary refund that the refund service charge will not be imposed. Regarding Booking Service Charge, it is non-refundable for partial-used ticket. The unused BSC can only be refunded when the ticket is total-unused or consists of BSC imposed on a flight-coupon base.

(2) For tickets purchased or modified from EVA AIR official website, please submit a refund application through EVA AIR website. For tickets purchased from EVA/UNI AIR ticketing channels, please contact EVA/UNI AIR reservation and ticketing office to arrange a refund.

(3) For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact your travel agent for refund

4. For tickets being changed with reissue fee waived but then voluntarily request for a change or refund afterwards, the service charge will not be waived. 

5. If the ticket being changed is the result of an exchanged/reissue or revalidated transaction, the eligibility of waiver is determined based on the current ticket to be changed/refunded.

6. Award ticket and upgrade with mileages

For refunds, refund service charge will not be imposed.

For rebooking, reissue fee as well as the expired miles are exempt from collection for one transaction provided the revised itinerary meets the same criteria as the affected ticket.

7. Group passengers shall contact the original issuing travel agency for changes/refunds.

8. Free and Reduced fare tickets are not included in this handling guideline, e.g. ID/AD/DM...etc.

9. Passengers who have been previously charged is not allowed to reimburse based on this bulletin.

1. Eligibility

Passengers holding EVA Air tickets(695) issued/reissued on/before 09SEP2021 with confirmed booking during 30JUN2021 to 31OCT2021 that being affected by the flight cancellation/schedule change for EVA Air flights to/from London 

2. Changes

(1) Within ticket validity, passengers to/from London may change into flights on/before 30NOV2021 following the provisions as below without additional charge for one transaction: 

A. Rebook to the same routing (city) and booking class (RBD) as ticketed; or

B. Rebook to EVA Vienna route with the same booking class (RBD) connecting Austrian Airlines(OS) or British Airways(BA) flight to/from London; or

C. Rebook to EVA Paris route with the same booking class (RBD) connecting Air France (AF) or British Airways (BA) flight to/from London

(2) Within ticket validity, Premium Economy passengers to/from London to change into Economy class or Business class for flights on/before 30NOV2021 may rebook to Vienna route with connecting Austrian Airlines(OS)/British Airways(BA) flights with refunding or paying the fare difference without change fee/Booking Service Charge difference for one transaction

(3) For passengers with connecting flight via London, within ticket validity, passengers may change into EVA operated flights to/from Europe on/before 30NOV2021 provided destination remains unchanged, the change fee and the difference of Booking Service Charge may be waived for one transaction.

Premium Economy passengers to change into Economy class or Business class for flights on/before 30NOV2021 may follow the provisions as above with refunding or paying the fare difference without change fee/Booking Service Charge difference for one transaction.

(4) Within ticket validity, changes to flights on/after 01DEC2021 or any changes out of scope of (1) - (3) above, it is considered as voluntary change and the ticket should be recalculated and reissued to collect the fare/tax/Booking Service Charge difference, if any, with the reissue fee waived for one transaction.

Passengers holding EVA Air tickets(695) issued/reissued on/before 19AUG2021 with confirmed booking during 30JUN2021 to 30SEP2021 that being affected by the flight cancellation/schedule change for EVA Air flights to/from London.

2. Changes

(1)Within ticket validity, passengers to/from London may change into flights on/before 31OCT2021 following the provisions as below without additional charge for one transaction: 

A. Rebook to the same routing (city) and booking class (RBD) as ticketed; or

B. Rebook to EVA Vienna route with the same booking class (RBD) connecting OS or BA flight to/from London; or

C. Rebook to EVA Paris route with the same booking class (RBD) connecting AF or BA flight to/from London

(2)Within ticket validity, Premium Economy passengers to/from London to change into Economy class or Business class for flights on/before 31OCT2021 may rebook to Vienna route with connecting OS/BA flights with refunding or paying the fare difference without change fee/Booking Service Charge difference for one transaction
