Effective on 5 March, the US CDC has issued an Order mandating airlines collect contract tracing information on passengers who have been in Ebola-affected countries in the past 21 days

There are currently outbreaks of Ebola Virus Disease in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Guinea. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued an Order, effective on 5 March, 2021, requiring airlines to collect contact information (full name, address in the United States, two telephone numbers and email address) for passengers who were in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or Republic of Guinea in the past 21 days prior to the passengers’ entry or attempted entry into the United States to arrive at one of the six designated airports. Those six designated airports are JFK, LAX, ORD, EWR, ATL and IAD. More information please find here.
