EVA Air Postpones the Launch of New Services to Milan and Phuket due to Coronavirus Outbreak

Feb 6, 2020

The Italian government temporarily suspended all flights from Taiwan in response to the novel coronavirus outbreak.  As a result, EVA Air has to postpose the launch of its Taipei-Milan route, originally planned on the 18th of February, 2020.  Furthermore, EVA has also decided to put off its new Taipei-Phuket service, which was scheduled to start from the 2nd of April.

EVA Air is closely monitoring the development of the epidemic and passengers’ travel demand to determine when to open the two new routes.

For related rules of ticket refund, itinerary change and exemption of administration fee, passengers can visit EVA’s dedicated webpage for the flights affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak: https://www.evaair.com/en-global/emer/2019-nCoV.html.
