4. Airport Lounge Access
   • When traveling on a Star Alliance member operated flight, eligible Star Alliance Gold card members may access designated Star Alliance member lounges, or access other Star Alliance member carriers’ lounges. Infinity MileageLands Diamond and Gold members may access EVA Air lounges at TPE, KHH and BKK.
   • Star Alliance Gold card members can take one companion into the lounge who is traveling with the Star Alliance carrier on the same day. Please contact your Star Alliance airline for further details. (*Effective from May. 3, 2021, it is revised that Star Alliance Gold card members can take one companion into the lounge only when the companion is traveling on the same flight of the Star Alliance carrier on the same day.)
5. Available at airports where the carrier offers priority boarding.

Star Alliance gold card members can enjoy star gold card benefits when traveling with a connecting flights between a Star Alliance member airline and a connecting partner (or vice versa) that meet the conditions mentioned below

• Both flights must be issued on the same ticket
• The connecting time between the two flights must be 2–24 hours

For example: A Star Alliance gold card member issued a ticket with flight BR712/01JAN2019/10:00~12:05/TPE-SHA connecting flight HO1201/01JAN2019/14:55~17:35/SHA-SZX. Because the connecting flight departure time for HO1201 is within 2–24 hours after the arrival time of BR712, this member can enjoy Star Gold benefits.
