Star Alliance’s Los Angeles airport lounge has won the title of North America’s Leading Airport Lounge for the fourth year running at the World Travel Awards 2023.

Star Alliance has once again won the title of World’s Best Airline Alliance at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards this year. The Alliance’s famed Los Angeles lounge has also maintained its position of World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge for the seventh year running. Star Alliance CEO Theo Panagiotoulias received the awards at a ceremony held at the Paris Air Show.

Star Alliance, the world’s largest airline alliance, today inaugurated its second lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. Starting October 13, it will welcome First and Business Class passengers and Star Alliance Gold status customers on member airline flights departing from gates 10 to 38 in Terminal 1. Eligible United Club and Air Canada Maple Leaf Club members may also access the lounge.

SINGAPORE - February 07, 2023 - Star Alliance, the world’s largest airline alliance, is now offering paid access to the Star Alliance-branded lounge at Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) airport. In addition to offering complimentary access to Star Alliance Gold members, and First Class and Business Class passengers, the lounge will now welcome other Star Alliance passengers regardless of membership status or cabin class, for a nominal fee.
