- The member or authorized designee with valid and sufficient award miles under a same Infinity MileageLands membership can go to any EVA Air’s local office during office hours to issue an award ticket(except at airports).
- Onboard with UNI Air Domestic Award Tickets:
Passengers' names on award tickets are in English. When traveling, a state-issued photo ID such as passport or Resident Certificate must be presented for inspection. The name on the ID must be consistent with the one on the flight ticket.
If the ticket information is inconsistent with the identity document, the passenger is required to issue a new ticket with correct information, and a cancellation fee would be charged according to the flight ticket regulation when refunding the original ticket. - Blackout Date for Taiwan Domestic Routes:

Ticket Rules
- Ticket validity: EVA Air/UNI Air international award ticket valid one year after the ticket is issued, UNI Air domestic award ticket valid six month after the ticket is issued. No extensions are permitted.
- Not applicable for
- Routes served with charter flights.
- Some routes code-shared with partner airlines, e.g., Hong Kong - Taipei flights code-shared with Hong Kong Airlines and operated by Hong Kong Airlines.
- A one-way award ticket can be issued. The required mileage is half of the round-trip award ticket.

Transit in Taiwan is not permitted for travel starting from Taiwan.
*Example:Not Permitted: (A) Tokyo - Taipei -Osaka - Taipei -Tokyo (B) Taipei - Hong Kong - Taipei - Singapore - Taipei - Use of a different gateway (Open Jaw) in the same area is permitted at the origin or turnaround point or at both origin and turnaround points. Besides, departure and arrival points must be in the same area. In terms of Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China, Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia are considered to be in different areas. The outward point of arrival and the inward point of departure must also be in the same area.
A trip that originates in Taiwan must return to Taiwan as the final destination.

- The deduction of miles for award tickets is based on the cabin class of the long-haul segment. When, due to different aircraft types, the Asian short-haul segment cannot offer the same cabin class as the long-haul segment, the next lower cabin class will be provided.
- For award tickets consisting of three or more segments involving different routes, areas, or booking classes, the mileage deduction will be determined entirely by the segment with the highest applicable redemption mileage cost. Example: Los Angeles (Business Class) - Taipei (Economy Class) - Singapore /Kuala Lumpur (Economy Class) - Taipei (Economy Class) - San Francisco
- For award tickets consisting of only two segments, each segment will be redeemed according to its applicable one-way redemption mileage cost. Example: Taipei (Economy Class) - Los Angeles(Business Class) - Taipei
- Award tickets can combine travel on a UNI Air international route with EVA Air flights.
- EVA Air and UNI Air reserve the right to limit or adjust the number of award seats subject to the status of booking on each flight. The number of award seats may be unavailable on some flights or at some periods, even if seats are available for paid tickets.
- An award ticket holder cannot obtain a seat/class upgrade by paying the fare difference.
- Diamond, Gold and Silver Cardholders using award tickets can enjoy all the benefits that accompany each Infinity MileageLands membership level.
- The seat selection rules of award tickets apply with the rules of Standard fare tickets in all cabin. Members can select Standard seats in Economy Class and all seats in Premium Economy Class and Royal Laurel/Premium Laurel/Business Class for free.
Diamond and Gold card members who hold an award ticket can select seats of all zone for free.
- Checked Baggage
The following baggage policy applies to flight sectors operated by EVA Air/UNI Air only. The free baggage allowance for award tickets is detailed down below :
*The extra baggage allowance is only for Infinity MileageLands Silver card members traveling on EVA/UNI Air-operated international flights when you make your reservation on an EVA/UNI Air flight number. - Carry-on Baggage
Royal Laurel/Premium Laurel/Business Class passengers are allowed to carry two pieces of hand-carry baggage and each piece cannot exceed 7kg/15lbs.
Premium Economy/Economy Class passengers are permitted to carry one piece weighing 7kg/15lbs carry-on baggage.
The maximum dimensions for each piece of hand-carry baggage are 23 × 36 × 56cm / 9 × 14 × 22in or a total of 115cm/45in (personal items are not included in this range).

- EVA Air will not provide free hotel accommodation, day rest service or shuttle bus service to an award ticket holder.
- Award tickets cannot be used with the EVASION program or UNI Holidays program, except for any campaigns separately published by EVA Air.
- International flights Award Tickets shall be subject to the standards of each government. Also, the use of Award Tickets shall comply all the general carriage conditions, tariffs and charges, ticket conditions and every policy of the operating airline, together with every applicable International Treaty and by all the terms and conditions of the Infinity MileageLands program.
- Tax
The award ticket holder is responsible for all taxes and surcharges. (payable by credit card or cash only) - Booking service charge
Regardless of the place of issue, award tickets involving EVA Air/UNI Air international flights with journey originating worldwide except Hong Kong will incur booking service charge (YR tax code) USD25 per ticket, and this charge is non-refundable. - No Show Fee
Will be applicable when the award ticket holders fail to use the confirmed reservation without prior notice before departure, then request to change or cancel the award flight.
The No show fee for international long haul routes (America/Europe/Oceania) will be charged USD150 ; international short haul routes(excluding Hong Kong & Macau) will be charged USD100 ; international short haul routes(Hong Kong & Macau) will be charged USD40. - Change/Refund Charges

EVA Air/UNI Air Award tickets issued through the EVA Air official website can be changed with travel dates/flights on the same itinerary via EVA Air official website. However, the following conditions do not apply: change itinerary, partially used tickets, passengers travelling with infants, passengers requiring special assistance (ex.wheelchair, medical facilities), reservations that include ancillary services (ex. prepaid excess baggage, seat selection) and promotional award tickets.Note 2A service fee of US$50.00 will be applied to any change. The service fee will be waived for an award ticket of a member with Diamond, Gold or Silver tier at the time of application.Any mileage differences will be returned to your account if the reissued award ticket requires fewer miles than the original itinerary. Additional miles may be collected if the award ticket is requested for reissue. If the miles used for the original award ticket had expired when the ticket is reissued, then that same number of miles equal to those that have expired will be collected. The validity of the reissued ticket is the same as the validity of the original issued ticket.Note 3No refund service fee.For entirely unused award ticket, EVA Air will refund applicable taxes, surcharges and miles upon request. How to Redeem?
- All award reservations should be made through the EVA Air Reservation Office. While making the reservation, members should hold valid and sufficient miles under the same Infinity MileageLands membership account. The award ticket should be issued before boarding.
- No matter whether the seat has been confirmed or not, an Award Ticket should be issued while the mileage is still valid and before the ticket deadline.
- Members or authorized designees may visit any EVA Air office during office hours to redeem for an Award ticket. (Airport ticket counters are excluded.)
- By logging in to the Infinity MileageLands account online, you can make reservations, and redeem Award Tickets. Please note that the award reservation on the EVA website only applies to the same international gateway and a non-stopover round trip on EVA Air/UNI Air international flights.
- When you make an award reservation, please make sure you have sufficient and valid miles for an award ticket and your intended seating class. Please state the booking code of the issued award ticket that you are holding when you want to make changes to the itinerary.
