Shenyang
Shenyang used to be known as Fengtian or Shengjing and is the capital of Liaoning Province. It is the largest city in northeast China. There is a strange and inexplicable phenomenon near Shenyang where gravity mysteriously operates inversely. So people call it the "Strange Slope." Shenyang is also the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty, and has many cultural relics which symbolize the prosperity and subsequent decline of China's last feudal dynasty. The most famous of these is the Shenyang Imperial Palace, which is second only to the Forbidden City in Beijing. The Fuling Tomb and the Zhaoling Tomb are two other famous imperial structures remaining from the Qing Dynasty. For this reason, we call Shenyang "The birthplace of one dynasty, the Imperial city of two generations."
