EVA Air ordered five more Boeing 787-9s following approval by its board of directors on March 13, 2023. The deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2025 and be completed in 2027. And, starting in mid-2024, EVA will update and reconfigure its 787-9s to add its popular Premium Economy Class to the Royal Laurel and Economy options now available on the aircraft. EVA Air will launch daily nonstop flights between Taipei and the northwestern Philippines, starting on March 30, 2023. EVA Air is celebrating its resumption of daily flights between George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) in Taiwan by signing a multi-year partnership with the Houston Rockets. EVA Air today officially announces they’ve joined the San Francisco Giants’ roster as an international airline partner. The award-winning airline and beloved baseball franchise have unveiled prominent signage inside Oracle Park and will work together on airline ticket giveaways, partnership activations and marketing programs as part of Giants special events through 2027.

EVA Air launched its Taipei-Clark maiden flight on March 30. This latest addition to its convenient Philippines schedule joins popular Manila and Cebu service. EVA celebrated its newest destination with an inaugural flight ceremony at Taoyuan International Airport hosted by the airline’s President Clay Sun.
