EVA Wins SKYTRAX 5-Star Airline Certification Eighth Year in a Row
EVA Air has once again earned SKYTRAX’s 5-Star Airline certification. Only 10 airlines in the world have been awarded 5-Star certifications and EVA is the only one in Taiwan to receive the distinction. EVA Welcomes 1st Star Alliance Liveried Boeing 787-10
EVA Air took delivery of its eighth Boeing 787-10, aircraft number B-17812, at the Boeing factory in North Charleston, South Carolina on May 5, 2023. The new aircraft is EVA’s first Boeing 787-10 with a Star Alliance livery and it made its ferry flight with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), further reducing carbon emissions. The aircraft departed Charleston Airport and after flying for approximately 17 hours, landed at Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) at 2:00 p.m. (UTC+8) on May 7, 2023. As Passenger Demand Climbs, EVA Orders Five More Boeing 787-9s Also adding Premium Economy Class to current two-cabin configuration
EVA Air ordered five more Boeing 787-9s following approval by its board of directors on March 13, 2023. The deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2025 and be completed in 2027. And, starting in mid-2024, EVA will update and reconfigure its 787-9s to add its popular Premium Economy Class to the Royal Laurel and Economy options now available on the aircraft. Inclusion of this latest 787 order will increase the number of B787s in EVA’s fleet to a total of 26, 13 B787-9s and 13 B787-10s. EVA to Launch Nonstop Flights to Clark International Airport Third Philippines destination adds convenience, flexibility
EVA Air will launch daily nonstop flights between Taipei and the northwestern Philippines, starting on March 30, 2023. EVA to Launch Nonstop Milan, Munich Flights Airline’s first European route expansion in 25 years
EVA Air will launch nonstop flights between Taipei and two popular European destinations. It will initiate Milan service on October 25, 2022 and introduce Munich flights on November 3, 2022. The airline will start with two flights a week to Milan and four to Munich.
