When/where can I check in my baggage with SSBD (self-service baggage drop)?

Location:

EVA Air offers self-service baggage drop at Taoyuan Metro A1 Taipei Main Station and Taoyuan Airport T2 counter 16/17.

Service time:

Taoyuan Metro A1 Taipei Main Station: 3 hours before flight departure for all flights (except for flights to Canada) on the same day.

Taoyuan Airport T2 counter 16/17: One hour before flight departure for all flights on the same day.

Hong Kong Airports: One hour before flight departure for all flights on the same day.

Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport: 6 hours~ 1 hour before flight departure.

London Heathrow Airport: 4 hours~ 1 hour before flight departure.

Fukuoka Airport: 3 hours~ 75 minutes before flight departure.

What types of baggage can be checked in using self-service baggage drop?

Is the self-service baggage drop service available for all EVA Air flights?

May I use the self-service baggage drop service if I am holding an EVA Air boarding pass?

Can my baggage be checked through to the final destination using self-service baggage drop when I have connecting flights?

EVA Air will check your baggage through to the final destination, provided that the below conditions are met.

You must have a confirmed reservation on onward-connection flight.

The flight transfer time is within 12 hours of departure.
The connecting flight departs from the destination airport of the previous segment.
There is an interline baggage agreement between EVA Air and the carrier for the connecting flight.
The checked baggage complies with the laws and regulations of the country where the transfer takes place.
Please contact the ground staff for information concerning relevant regulations on overnight transfer of baggage.
