Shanghai is located on Yangtze River Delta in eastern China, and is China's largest economic center. Shanghai's colonial history is represented by the Bund which is situated along the western bank of the Huangpu River, and features historical buildings of various architectural styles, including the famous Peace Hotel, the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Building, the Customs House and the former Bank of Communications. Nowadays, Shanghai is renowned for its Lujiazui skyline, Lujiazui is located on the east side of the Huangpu River and is on the opposite side of the river from the Bund. The landmark buildings in Lujiazui include the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Jin Mao Building, the Shanghai World Financial Center and the Shanghai Tower. Besides its skyscrapers and famous buildings, Shanghai offers plentiful attractions, such as the City God Temple of Shanghai, the Yu Garden, the Jing'an Temple as well as the China Art Museum and the Shanghai Museum.
