You can choose to check in easily by mobile device, computer or kiosk, and use the self service baggage drop to save time.

Self Service Baggage Drop

EVA Airways offers self-service baggage drop at various airports. This service will provide you with more efficient and easier way to check-in your bag. 

Please check the following information before using self-service baggage drop:

  • Make sure you finish online check-in, mobile check-in or self check-in (Kiosk) and receive hard copy boarding pass or QR code boarding pass.
  • Applicable airports and Hours of operation:
    1. Taoyuan Metro A1 Taipei Main Station (06:00-21:30) : The self-service Baggage check-in will be closed 3 hours before flight departure on the same day. Flights departing to Canada are not available at A1 station.
    2. Taoyuan Metro A3 New Taipei Industrial Park (09:00-16:00): The self-service Baggage check-in will be closed 3 hours before flight departure on the same day. Flights departing to Canada are not available at A3 station.
    3. Taoyuan Airport T2 counter 16, 17: One hour before flight departure for all flights of the same day (04:15~14:30/19:00~22:30) Counter 17 open for EVA AIR direct flights. (Not applicable for flights to Hong Kong, Vietnam, Philippines. Counter 16 temporarily closed.)
    4. Hong Kong Airports: One hour before flight departure for all flights of the same day.
    5. Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport: 6 hours~ 1 hour before flight departure.
    6. London Heathrow Airport: 4 hours~ 1 hour before flight departure.
  • Please check-in at the airport counters of EVA Airways if you belong to one of the following groups :
    1. Unaccompanied Minor under 12 years old.
    2. Passengers carrying animals, checked baggage with the longest side exceeding 70CM (27IN) or the sum of length, width and height exceeding 158CM (62IN).
    3. Carton, umbrella, backpack(soft bag), baby stroller and wheelchair are ineligible to check-in at self-service baggage drop machine
    4. Passengers carrying fragile baggage or baggage that needs more special care.
    5. Baggage exceeds free allowance.
