EVA Mobile App is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad with iOS 11.0 or later and Android devices with Android 6.0 or later.

You must arrive at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to flight departure to present your travel documents. For those who have baggage to check in, please drop your baggage at the Bag drop counter at least 60 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure.

EVA Mobile App provides boarding pass saving feature, you may save your e-boarding pass into "My Pass". You can also save it to Apple Wallet or Google Pay, depends you are using iPhone or Android devices.

The e-boarding pass service is only available to EVA Air and UNI Air international ticketed passengers with confirmed bookings departing from the following airports: 

• Taiwan: Kaohsiung, Taichung, Taipei (Songshan, Taoyuan Airport)
• Mainland China / Hong Kong / Macau: Hong Kong, Macau
• North America: Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver
• Europe: Amsterdam, London, Paris, Vienna, Milan, Munich
• Northeast Asia: Fukuoka, Matsuyama, Nagoya, Okinawa, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo (Haneda, Narita Airport), Seoul (Gimpo, Incheon Airport), Komatsu
• Southeast Asia: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Denpasar Bali

Yes, you can. Qualified passengers who checked in by using EVA Mobile may display the e-boarding pass to the VIP lounge staff and enjoy the service.

Please arrive at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before the flight departure and present your travel documents to our staff. If you have any baggage to check in, please visit to EVA Air's Bag drop counter at the airport and acquire your baggage claim slip.

Make sure your cellphone is sufficiently charged, and save the e-boarding pass for security checks at the boarding gate with either way indicating below:

• Save your e-boarding pass to EVA Mobile's "My Pass". Please note that e-boarding passes saved in "My Pass" will be automatically deleted after 30 days.
• Save your e-boarding pass to Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

Passengers may proceed swiftly through security checks and immigration control to the boarding gate, saving precious time. If you have baggage to check in, please drop your baggage at the Bag drop counter at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure.

It depends on the policies of the local airport authority. Some airports may require each passenger to display their own e-boarding pass. If passengers are unable to do so, security personnel may direct those passengers back to the check-in desk to print their boarding passes.

You may use the sharing feature of EVA Mobile App to send the e-boarding pass of your companions to their cellphone.

Check-in through App is unavailable to the following passengers:

• Passengers with an upgraded booking cannot check in through App.
• Passengers who are traveling with infant(s).
• Passengers who are not electronic ticket holders.
• Passengers whose booking has not yet been confirmed.
• Passengers whose booking has not yet been ticketed.
• Passengers who are required to pay a fare difference or tax associated with the ticket.
• Passengers whose flight schedule does not match the original electronic ticket.
• Passengers requiring special assistance (such as those with medical conditions).
• If you are checking in for multiple flight segments on the same ticket, please proceed according to the order of flights on your ticket.

Apple Wallet and Google pay are applications developed by Apple and Google respectively, the former is inbuilt in iPhone and the later can be download from Google Play. Both are digital wallets that can save e-boarding pass and facilitate the check-in and security check process.

When you are near the airport vicinity on the day of departure, you will receive a notification with your e-boarding pass on the lock screen. You may click it open to use them right away. You will also receive push notifications when the boarding gate or boarding time modifies.

No, but the passes will expire after your journey concludes. You may also delete them manually.
