EVA Air will cancel Taipei-Manila BR277 and Manila-Taipei BR278 flights from February 12 through February 18 due to the Republic of the Philippines’ latest immigration directives and the impact on passenger demand. We will continue to operate our other flights to/from Cebu and Manila as scheduled.
For the purpose to control the spread of the new Coronal epidemic, Taiwan immigration has announced a restriction to Mainland China/Hong Kong/Macau resident visit or transfer to/from Taiwan, meanwhile certain countries have issued a ban "Non-residents who have traveled to Mainland China within 14 days will be denied entry". For your own benefit, please inform our ground staff proactively and honestly and check with local regulations of destination before departure.
EVA Air does not fly to Wuhan. Nevertheless, we are taking every precaution against the new coronavirus and making every effort to help prevent an epidemic. On all our flights to and from high-risk areas such as Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, we require crew members to wear sanitary masks and, after meals when they collect food trays from passengers, use gloves. If crew members on other routes encounter passengers who appear ill or seem to have a virus, they take precautions, wear masks and wash their hands frequently.
For passengers holding BR/B7 tickets issued on/before 22JAN2020 with confirmed bookings on BR/B7 international and cross-strait flights with connecting flights from/to Wuhan before 15FEB2020.
For passengers holding BR/B7 tickets issued on/before 13JAN2020 with confirmed bookings on BR/B7 international and cross strait flights between 12JAN2020 and 13JAN2020 that flights being cancelled or changed because of TAAL-VOLCANO.
With the advent of 2020, EVA Air invited Kyoto chef Motokazu Nakamura, whose restaurant has held three Michelin stars for 10 consecutive years, to launch a special New Year menu for Royal Laurel Class, Premium Laurel Class, and Business Class passengers flying from Taipei to Paris, Tokyo (Narita), and Osaka. For the appetizer dishes, Nakamura used ingredients that represent longevity, health, a rich harvest, and numerous offspring, such as black beans and marinated herring roe.
