Due to the additional cost of purchasing onboard WiFi, we sincerely recommend that you download electronic publications before boarding.

Please note that the onboard Wi-Fi has a limited download capacity, and the file size of electronic publications is at least 20MB or more. Therefore, downloading during the flight may result in insufficient data or incompleted downloads, which can affect your reading experience.

Furthermore, please be aware that Wi-Fi service is not available on some of our aircrafts. As a result, it is not possible to download electronic publications during that flight. To avoid any inconvenience mentioned above, we suggest that you use available internet access before takeoff or upon arrival at your destination to download the necessary electronic publications to your personal mobile device, ensuring a smooth reading experience.

If you have been provided with complimentary onboard Wi-Fi data or have made the necessary data request prior to boarding, or if you have purchased additional data onboard, you can download the electronic publications during the flight using the satellite internet connection.

Please note that flight attendants are unable to provide passengers with free WiFi passwords onboard.

EVA e-Library service is applicable to passenger who holds e-ticket and take the international flights operated by EVA Air/UNI Air or a codeshare flight operated by EVA Air/UNI Air. (The service is available starting from 48 hours before and up to 24 hours after flight departure.) 

Note. EVA e-Library service is not applicable as below: 

1. Infant fare tickets 
2. Tickets issued for extra seat (CBBG/EXST/STCR)…etc. 
3. Certain charter flights, extra flights or codeshare flights not operated by EVA Air/UNI Air.

EVA e-Library use web solution to download publications in PDF format that can be saved on your own digital device. 

For better user experience, we suggest you to check and update your browsers before using EVA e-Library service. Minimum browser requirement as below- 

• Safari 9 or higher 
• Firefox 45 or higher 
• Google Chrome 50 or higher

The common unavailable reasons are as follows- 

1. Please contact reservation center or your original booking agency for assistance in following situation. 
   • The e-ticket is not connected with your booking reference record. 
   • There are multiple itineraries at the same time, the system occur unpredictable system calculation error. 
   • Please confirm whether there is a duplicate membership card number in your itineraries.
2. Since your onward itinerary is booked and ticketed separately, your current flight and onward flight are combined at the airport check-in counter to provide yours through check-in and baggage transfer service. It will cause the system not able to determine your onward itinerary reservation and provide the EVA e-Library service.
3. The system is temporarily out of service or scheduled maintenance or other disruption reason, please try again later.

Common situations that may cause different calculation times due to system limitations are as follows: 

1. The download quota will be different in cases where passengers get upgraded/downgraded on the day of departure at the airport or inflight upgrade, the numbers of download increased by the upgrade cannot be traced back. 
2. The booking class does not match the actual cabin class due to the change of aircraft type. 
3. Infinity MileageLands card tier cannot be updated in the system immediately.

The e-book you downloaded will initially open in a web format, please manually download the e-publication as a PDF file on your device. 

The downloaded ePapers are only for your reading. Please abide by the relevant laws and regulations on copyright and intellectual property rights of the local country.

Please note that the system service provider of this platform is the German company Media Carrier GmbH. 

When you purchase a digital publication online, the fee will be paid in Euros. There may be fees for international transaction fees, exchange rates, service fee or other charges, etc.

The EVA e-Library service provided by EVA Air includes but is not limited to the following disclaimer.

EVA may maintain the relevant records automatically generated by the server, including but not limited to the logs containing the IP addresses of any devises accessing the Service, the time and locations of use, and the browsers therefore used. The foregoing records are protected and maintained in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. 
2. Without your consent, EVA will not disclose such records to any third party irrelevant to the Service, except that it is to be disclosed under operation of law or EVA believes on reasonable grounds of the existence of foregoing situation.

EVA assumes no responsibility and risk for your access or use of this Service.
4. EVA does not guarantee the quality of Internet connection of this Service, including but not limited to speed and stability, nor is EVA liable for any delay, error, omission, or failure of transfers. 
5. EVA bears no responsibility, and shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive damage caused by your use of this Service, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable.
