EVA Air today officially announces they’ve joined the San Francisco Giants’ roster as an international airline partner. The award-winning airline and beloved baseball franchise have unveiled prominent signage inside Oracle Park and will work together on airline ticket giveaways, partnership activations and marketing programs as part of Giants special events through 2027.

EVA Air has won more accolades, this time from Travel + Leisure’s readers as one of the “World’s Best” 10 Favorite International Airines of 2023.

EVA Air has won 16 awards, including 9th place ranking among the “World's Top 10 Best Airlines,” first for “World's Best Premium Economy Class” and first for “World's Best Premium Economy Inflight Catering.” EVA earned distinction as one of only 10 SKYTRAX’s Five-Star Airlines in May. EVA Air has once again earned SKYTRAX’s 5-Star Airline certification. Only 10 airlines in the world have been awarded 5-Star certifications and EVA is the only one in Taiwan to receive the distinction. EVA Air took delivery of its eighth Boeing 787-10, aircraft number B-17812, at the Boeing factory in North Charleston, South Carolina on May 5, 2023. The new aircraft is EVA’s first Boeing 787-10 with a Star Alliance livery and it made its ferry flight with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), further reducing carbon emissions. The aircraft departed Charleston Airport and after flying for approximately 17 hours, landed at Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) at 2:00 p.m. (UTC+8) on May 7, 2023. EVA Air ordered five more Boeing 787-9s following approval by its board of directors on March 13, 2023. The deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2025 and be completed in 2027. And, starting in mid-2024, EVA will update and reconfigure its 787-9s to add its popular Premium Economy Class to the Royal Laurel and Economy options now available on the aircraft. Inclusion of this latest 787 order will increase the number of B787s in EVA’s fleet to a total of 26, 13 B787-9s and 13 B787-10s.
