Passenger Travel Advisory: Mobile Network Slowdown Drills During the "2026 Urban Resilience Exercise"

In compliance with the "2026 Urban Resilience Exercise," mobile network slowdown drills and surrounding traffic control measures will be conducted in Central and Northern Taiwan. Mobile data networks in affected areas may experience temporary disconnections or slow connection speeds during the exercise periods. To ensure a smooth journey, EVA Air kindly requests passengers to note the following:

Exercise Schedule & Coverage Areas:

Central Taiwan: August 10, 2026 (Mon.) 14:30 – 15:00

Northern Taiwan: August 13, 2026 (Thu.) 14:30 – 15:00


Recommended Actions for Passengers:

  1. Complete Online Check-in Early: Passengers are advised to complete online check-in and seat selection via the EVA Air Official Website (Online Check in) or the EVA Mobile App between 48 hours to 1 hour prior to departure.
  2. Download/Save Boarding Pass in Advance: After completing online check-in, please take a screenshot of your Mobile Boarding Pass (QR Code) or save it to Apple Wallet / Google Wallet to ensure smooth customs clearance and boarding without mobile internet access.
  3. Allow Extra Travel Time to the Airport: Local traffic control measures will be enforced during the exercise. Passengers are recommended to allow extra travel time and arrive at the airport early for check-in and clearance procedures.
