Sure, you can download the publications during flying if you have purchased inflight Wi-Fi service. Please beware that there is data usage limited with inflight Wi-Fi service. (Please know that EVA Air is highly recommended to remind you can download the publications before flight departure or after flight landing if your flight doesn’t have inflight Wi-Fi service.)

We would like to remind you to download e-publications from EVA e-Library website and manually store in PDF format on your own device in order to prevent the discomfort of not being able to read due to the lack of Wi-Fi or internet connectivity on board. When you download an e-book from the EVA e-Library website, it will automatically open in a web browser. Please access the PDF file on your device's storage space for reading.

EVA e-Library service is applicable to passenger who holds e-ticket and take the international flights operated by EVA Air/UNI Air or a codeshare flight operated by EVA Air/UNI Air. (The service is available starting from 48 hours before and up to 24 hours after flight departure.) 

Note. EVA e-Library service is not applicable as below: 

1. Infant fare tickets 
2. Tickets issued for extra seat (CBBG/EXST/STCR)…etc. 
3. Certain charter flights, extra flights or codeshare flights not operated by EVA Air/UNI Air.

EVA e-Library use web solution to download publications in PDF format that can be saved on your own digital device. 

For better user experience, we suggest you to check and update your browsers before using EVA e-Library service. Minimum browser requirement as below- 

• Safari 9 or higher 
• Firefox 45 or higher 
• Google Chrome 50 or higher

The common unavailable reasons are as follows- 

1. Please contact reservation center or your original booking agency for assistance in following situation. 
   • The e-ticket is not connected with your booking reference record. 
   • There are multiple itineraries at the same time, the system occur unpredictable system calculation error. 
   • Please confirm whether there is a duplicate membership card number in your itineraries.
2. Since your onward itinerary is booked and ticketed separately, your current flight and onward flight are combined at the airport check-in counter to provide yours through check-in and baggage transfer service. It will cause the system not able to determine your onward itinerary reservation and provide the EVA e-Library service.
3. The system is temporarily out of service or scheduled maintenance or other disruption reason, please try again later.

Common situations that may cause different calculation times due to system limitations are as follows: 

1. The download quota will be different in cases where passengers get upgraded/downgraded on the day of departure at the airport or inflight upgrade, the numbers of download increased by the upgrade cannot be traced back. 
2. The booking class does not match the actual cabin class due to the change of aircraft type. 
3. Infinity MileageLands card tier cannot be updated in the system immediately.

The e-book you downloaded will initially open in a web format, please manually download the e-publication as a PDF file on your device. 

The downloaded ePapers are only for your reading. Please abide by the relevant laws and regulations on copyright and intellectual property rights of the local country.
