EVA Air has partnered with Shin-Shen Sustainability Consulting Co., Ltd. to launch the Sustainable Lemon Project in Pingtung’s organic lemon orchards, introducing plantations through cover crop cultivation and becoming Taiwan’s first airline to incorporate sustainable agriculture into inflight dining.
Plantations through cover crop cultivation enhance soil health, increase carbon sequestration, reduce soil erosion, and support biodiversity, creating a more resilient ecosystem while reducing reliance on herbicides. Through thoughtfully crafted meals, EVA Air brings the flavors of nature to the skies while demonstrating its commitment to the land, the environment, and future generations.
