From 2023 to 2025, EVA Air "Let Me Fly With You" Charity Program has led our colleagues to engage with, understand, accept, and respect D.D. Angels, accompanying them through tangible actions.
In 2026, we will once again take flight for the D.D. Angels, hoping that society at large will join us in raising awareness of the need for early intervention.

“Let Me Fly With You” A day of joy at Taipei Zoo

TIn 2025, the “Let Me Fly With You” initiative held its first outdoor event at Taipei Zoo, in partnership with Eden and Syin-Lu Foundations. Children with developmental delays and their families, joined by dedicated EVA Air volunteers, enjoyed a heartwarming day of fun and healing.

Special guests “Brother Tree” and “Sister Sakura” brought music, laughter, and energy, creating a joyful atmosphere. Through interactive games and animal exploration, the children learned, grew, and rebuilt confidence with volunteer support.

"Let Me Fly With You" Flight Experience Day

The "Let Me Fly With You" Flight Experience Day offered D.D. Angels more opportunities to interact with the world. EVA Air invited D.D. families from the Child Welfare League Foundation and Eden Foundation to visit EVA Air, traveling on the specially painted cargo bus.

EVA Air volunteers guided the children through activities such as the Emergency Evacuation Training Cabin and Flight Simulator Training Area, while the catering team provided special meals for them to enjoy effortlessly.

The day created precious parent-child moments and became a warm memory for the volunteers.

"Let Me Fly With You" Volunteer Gift Packaging Event

The packaging of gifts is meant to convey the giver's heartfelt intentions more completely! On the afternoon of April 23rd, a group of EVA Air colleagues took on the mission of delivering these heartfelt wishes. Despite being unfamiliar with the task, their dedication to the D.D. Angels was unwavering.

In April 2024, EVA Air once again launched the "Let Me Fly With You" program. Internally, colleagues raised funds, which were turned into thoughtful gifts to encourage and support D.D. Angels in their journey. Each gift was carefully selected by social workers to meet the specific needs of the children. The process of playing with these toys also helps promote sensory integration development.

In this moment, the volunteers added an extra touch of heart with their hands and used these gifts to record the story between EVA Air and the D.D. Angels.

"Let Me Fly With You" Early Intervention Service Seminar

In April 2024, EVA Air once again launched the "Let Me Fly With You" program. Following the great response from last year's seminar, this year, additional sessions were added. The seminar invited the Child Welfare League Foundation and Eden Foundation to share insights on early intervention services. Moreover, interactive experience activities were incorporated into the seminar, allowing colleagues to experience the challenges that D.D. Angels face in their daily lives—what we take for granted as our "everyday" is actually "extraordinary" for them.

Director JOE SHIH, who filmed the early intervention documentary, also shared his experience during the filming process. He spoke about the challenges faced by early intervention services in rural areas, the emotional struggles of D.D. families, and the lack of resources. EVA Air hopes that colleagues and the public will step forward, offering their support through actions, so that social workers on the front lines can have more resources and continue to provide long-term and sustainable services to D.D. Angels across Taiwan and its remote islands.

"Let Me Fly With You" Volunteer Activity

EVA Air is committed to social welfare, and on June 15th, Vice President Eric Chiu from the Digital and Information Planning DEPT led around 40 colleagues to visit the Child Welfare League Foundation's Taichung Development School. They brought hand-packaged gifts for each "D.D. Angel" and presented medical assistive devices to be used by the school to help the children. Through hands-on interaction, they experienced firsthand the challenges that parents face while caring for children with developmental delays.

The series of actions in the "Let Me Fly With You EVA Air Children’s Charity Dream Program" — from donating love, to packaging love, and ultimately delivering love — symbolize EVA Air colleagues’ determination to accompany the D.D. Angels as they soar together.

We hope to call on the public and businesses to recognize the needs of D.D. Angels and work together to support early intervention services, so these children can look forward to a brighter future.

"Let Me Fly With You" Volunteer Gift Packaging Event

EVA Air launched an internal fundraising campaign on May 17th, which received a warm response from our colleagues. The funds raised were turned into individual gifts for the children. Teachers from the Child Welfare League Foundation carefully selected suitable gifts for the children, including toys to help with hand-eye coordination and toys to promote sensory integration development.

On June 8th, several EVA Air colleagues volunteered to package the gifts for the children receiving early intervention services. Although the volunteers were initially unfamiliar with the task and a bit disorganized, they quickly demonstrated the EVA Air spirit, setting up different workstations to efficiently complete the packaging.

EVA Air colleagues not only donated money to show their love, but also took action by carefully packaging their heartfelt wishes for the D.D. Angels. We believe the D.D. Angels receiving these gifts will truly feel the love and care from all the EVA Air colleagues.

"Let Me Fly With You" Early Intervention Service Seminar

To help colleagues better understand the importance of early intervention services for D.D. Angels, EVA Air specially invited the Child Welfare League Foundation to hold a seminar on May 22nd at the headquarters. During the seminar, many colleagues were moved to tears while watching the documentary, deeply feeling the pain of the children and the struggles faced by the D.D. families.

The Child Welfare League Foundation emphasized that the promotion of early intervention is not just about showing love, but also about advocating for children's rights. They call on the public to provide more care and support for D.D. families, and to empathize with their situation.

Additionally, the foundation's services are actively aligning with international standards. They focus not only on the children’s daily learning and care, but also on extending the service concept to communities, and building a comprehensive support network. This ensures that accessibility is not only about physical infrastructure, but also about creating an inclusive mindset.
