In response to rising aviation fuel prices and increasing operating costs resulting from global economic conditions and geopolitical developments, EVA Air will adjust its international baggage-related fees and acceptance standards for travel on or after September 29, 2026.

Referring to an announcement from Star Alliance, Asiana Airlines (OZ) will formally leave Star Alliance on December 16, 2026, 23:59 (Korea Standard Time). The partnership between EVA Air Infinity MileageLands and Asiana Airlines will also terminate on the same date.

Effective 31 July 2026, EVA Air flights to and from Chengdu will operate at Terminal 1 of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU). Flight schedules will remain unchanged.

In response to the new lithium battery -powered power bank specifications issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization, EVA Air has revised the specifications for carrying power banks in carry-on baggage.
