Full collapsible manual-powered wheelchair may be carried as your carry-on baggage, but it may be loaded in the cargo compartment at airline's discretion if there is no stowing space available in cabin. Battery-powered wheelchair can only be carried as checked baggage in the cargo compartment if the battery is disconnected, terminals are insulated and the battery is securely attached to the wheelchair, which should always be loaded in an upright position. Therefore, the extra seat will be charged the same fare as children between 2~12 years of age. EVA provides some free bassinets on our flights suitable for infants up to approximately 8 months of age. There are also special regulations for accompanying more than one child over 2 years of age.
