Taipei

Taipei City, lying in the Taipei Basin of northern Taiwan, is the Taiwan region's capital and has been the center of government, business, and entertainment. The city stretches from the Keelung River in the northeast to the Xindian River in the southwest.
Taipei 101, Taiwan's well-known landmark, used to be the tallest building in the world. Visitors taking the high-speed elevator up to the observatory on the 89th floor get a wonderful view of Taipei city. There is also Xiangshan—Elephant Mountain—which is another good choice for enjoying the best night view over Taipei. Visitors get a spectacular bird's eye view from these two spots. When visiting Taiwan, never miss out a visit to the night market crammed full of delicious foods. Whether it be the Ningxia, Raohe, or Shilin night market, you will absolutely fall in love with it.
