Hand Carry Baggage Allowance

Royal Laurel/Premium Laurel/Business Class passengers are allowed to carry two pieces of hand-carry baggage and each piece cannot exceed 7Kkg/15lbs hand-carry baggage and each piece cannot exceed 7kg/15lbs.Premium Economy/ Economy/Economy Class passengers are permitted to carry one piece weighing 7kg/15lbs carry-on baggage.

Prepaid Excess Baggage and Charges

The prepaid service is available on official website after you have purchased your ticket and up till 4 hours before your scheduled departure time. Or pay at check-in counter based on it’s the piece, or size of the checked baggage which exceeds you free baggage allowance.

Seat Selection

Visit Manage My Trip on EVA Air Website (WWW.EVAAIR.COM)/App to select seats before flight departure. For passengers who purchase Basic Fare seats on Economy or Premium Economy Class may select your seats with free of charge 48 hours before your flight departure time.

Cabin Wi-Fi Service

Purchased Wi-Fi plan is only valid on the flight sector on which the purchase was made. For example, a Wi-Fi plan purchased on BR67 from Taipei to Bangkok cannot be used on the next sector of the same flight from Bangkok to London.

Unaccompanied Minors

Unaccompanied minors aged 5 to 12 years may travel with EVA Air. To ensure safety of children traveling alone, we request that parents/guardians inform us that they are booking a flight for an unaccompanied minor at the time they make reservations. Parents need to fill out a UM form, including local contacts at both departure and arrival pick-up points.

Traveling with Pets

The accompanied pets, only dogs, cats, and rabbits, can be transported on EVA Air's aircraft as checked baggage in the cargo compartment. Pets are not accepted in the cabin except for Service Dogs carried by disabled passengers.

Sport Equipment & Special Baggage

Special baggage, such as sporting equipment and musical instruments, is considered part of your free baggage allowance. An excess baggage fee may be applied if you have overweight or oversized items. Please contact EVA Air Customer Service Center 24 hours (1 business day) before flight departure if you have sporting equipment carriage.

Online Meal Order

Wheelchairs and Mobility Aids

When you need special assistance because of a physical disability or mental/emotional disability, EVA will provide individual attention and assistance. If you need special assistance or services during your flight, please notify an EVA Air's Reservations Office, so we can make the necessary arrangements. An EVA Air Medical Information sheet (MEDIF) may be required to be completed by your attending physician under some circumstances and medical conditions.

Other Medical Condition Service and Fees

  • A stretcher surcharge equal to 6 full standard fares in the highest applicable adult Y class must also be paid. For detailed information about the stretcher assistance surcharge, please contact an EVA ticketing office.
  • On-board Medical Oxygen Service: There is a US$200 charge per one oxygen bottle and for the seat surcharge fare
  • Medical Portable Equipment Devices (MPED): The passenger who would require medical attention and/or special equipment (MPED) to maintain their health during the flight shall follow EVA General Conditions of Carriage to apply and obtain the medical clearance at least 48 hours prior to the flight.
  • Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC): Passenger may bring and use Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC) devices on board. The POC needs to be approved by EVA and comply with carry- on baggage weight and dimensions limitations. The POC must be stowed under the front passenger's seat; otherwise passenger may pay for an extra seat to tie-down the POC.
