Transfer/Return Miles

Nominee Registration

  • To protect your membership rights, a list of nominees must be submitted to the Infinity MileageLands before transferring mileage.
    (For example, Jeremy would like to transfer 20,000 miles to Sandy. Jeremy is the Transferor and Sandy is the Nominee.)
  • Please complete the following steps to apply for nominee registration:
  • The new nominee can get their transferred mileage or electronic upgrade certificates 5 days after the registration is completed on the computer system of the Infinity MileageLands Service Center during office hours. A nominee registration will be effective 24 hours later after it is made online. Members cannot request to change nominees after they are listed. The validity of effective nominees list is permanent.
  • The number of nominee registrations each calendar year varies by the card tiers. Green/Silver/Gold card members have up to 6 nominees (transferred mileage and upgrade certificate); Diamond card members have up to 9 nominees (including those transferred mileage and upgrade certificate). The number of nominee registered is based on the new card type when changing the card tier.
  • Nominees receiving mileage or electronic upgrade certificates after 2006, will be listed as effective nominees in the transferor's account automatically.

How to Transfer Miles

  • The nominees must be listed as registered nominees in the transferor's account before transferring mileage.
  • Members can transfer their own mileage to other Infinity MileageLands members. However, the transferred mileage cannot be combined with the transferee's own mileage or any mileage transferred by a 3rd party.
  • Mileage with the earliest expiration date will be transferred to the nominee's account. The transferred mileage will follow its original validity and will be deposited into the nominee's account accompanied by the transferor's account number.
  • Refer to the following steps to apply for Mileage Transfer.
    • Contact any EVA Air ticketing counter (except at airports)
      Members can fill out the Transfer/Return Application Form at any EVA Air ticketing counter (except at airports).

    • Apply by Mail or Fax
      Members can fill out the Transfer/Return Application Form and fax or mail it to any EVA Air Infinity MileageLands Service Center.

    • Apply On-line
      It is easy to apply for mileage transfer via “Manage My Account”. Members need to use the On-line Service in advance.
      For the security of the on-line mileage function, please fill out the On-line Service Form to apply at the EVA Air ticketing counter (with the exception of airport ticket counters). You can also choose to fax or mail the data to your local Infinity MileageLands Service Center.

Transfer Back

Nominee can cancel his/her original transfer application and request it to be reinstated back to its original state. However, it can only be re-deposited back to its original owner and the validity of the mileage will remain the same.

Notes

  • Members can inquire about completed registration results via “Manage My Account” or contact Infinity MileageLands Service Center. EVA Air will not process any application without complete documents.
  • Note: It is not applicable to apply for the online service function if the member has only earned Award miles from joining online or filling in completed data in the account.
  • Please notify any of our local ticketing offices in advance and allow yourself some extra time to apply for mileage or electronic upgrade certificates transfers as the system requires 5 working days to process your application.
  • There is a limitation on the number of transferees based on the membership status. Each Green card, Silver card and Gold card member can transfer their mileage to a maximum of 6 transferees (including transferred mileage and upgrade certificate) per calendar year; Diamond card members have up to 9 transferees (including transferred mileage and upgrade certificate) per calendar year.
  • The number of transferees is based on the new card type when changing the card tier.
  • EVA Airways will disqualify any Infinity MileageLands member who violates Section A or Section B from further participation in the program and revoke all membership mileage credits and electronic upgrade certificates immediately.

A. Member hereby agrees not to sell, purchase, barter, bestow, lease, loan, assign, and deposit the mileage credits or electronic upgrade certificates by internet, newspaper or magazines or make others to do so.

B. Member hereby agrees not to divulge any information to sell, purchase, barter, bestow, lease, loan, assign, and deposit the mileage credits or electronic upgrade certificates in internet, newspaper or magazines or make others to do so.

  • When Green Card members applying mileage or electronic upgrade certificate transfer/return through the Infinity MileageLands Service Center or ticketing counter, the transferor will have deducted 3,000 miles for each transaction from member's account.
