Wine experts judging Business Traveller Magazine’s prestigious annual Cellars in the Sky 2016 competition awarded EVA Air two Gold Medals, one for Best Business Class Cellar and the other for Best Business Class Sparkling. The airline now makes baggage check-in as easy as one, two, three for passengers using the EVA Air Mobile App and Rimowa electronic tag luggage. The RIMOWA e-tag baggage check-in service is available for iOS operating systems now and will be ready for Androids soon.
Star Alliance members EVA Air and Air India will initiate a new code-sharing schedule, starting 1 December, 2016. The carriers will use both airlines’ flight numbers on EVA-operated Taipei-Bangkok and Taipei-Singapore service and on Bangkok/Singapore to Mumbai connections flown by Air India.
