Due to the additional cost of purchasing onboard Wi-Fi, we strongly recommend that you download electronic publications before boarding.
Please note that the onboard Wi-Fi has a limited download capacity, and the file size of electronic publications is at least 20MB or more. Therefore, downloading during the flight may result in insufficient data or in-completed downloads, which can affect your reading experience.
Furthermore, please be aware that Wi-Fi service is not available on some of our aircrafts. As a result, it is not possible to download electronic publications during that flight. To avoid any inconvenience mentioned above, we suggest that you use available internet access before Takeoff or upon arrival at your destination to download the necessary electronic publications to your personal mobile device, ensuring a smooth reading experience.
If you have been provided with complimentary onboard Wi-Fi data or have made the necessary data request prior to boarding, or if you have purchased additional data onboard, you can download the electronic publications during the flight using the satellite internet connection.
Please note that flight attendants are unable to provide passengers with free Wi-Fi passwords onboard.

EVA e-Library service is applicable to passengers who hold an e-ticket for international flights operated by EVA Air/UNI Air or a codeshare flight operated by EVA Air/UNI Air. (The service is available starting from 48 hours before and up to 24 hours after flight departure.)
Note. EVA e-Library service is not available in the following instances:
Infant fare tickets
Tickets issued for extra seats (CBBG/EXST/STCR), etc.
Certain charter flights, extra flights or codeshare flights not operated by EVA Air/UNI Air.
EVA e-Library uses a web solution to download publications in a PDF format that can be saved on your own digital device.
For a better user experience, we suggest that you check and update your browser before using the EVA e-Library service. Minimum browser requirement as below:
Safari 9 or higher
Firefox 45 or higher
Google Chrome 50 or higher
Common reasons for unavailability are as follows.
Please contact the reservation centre or your original booking agency for assistance in the following situations.
The e-ticket is not connected with your booking reference record.
There are multiple itineraries, resulting in an unpredictable system calculation error.
Please confirm whether there is a duplicate membership card number in your itineraries.
Since your onward itinerary is booked and ticketed separately, your current and onward flights are combined at the airport check-in counter in order to provide the through check-in and baggage transfer services. As a result, your onward reservation itinerary cannot be determined nor being provided the EVA e-Library service.
The system is temporarily out of service for scheduled maintenance or for another reason. Please try again later.
Common situations that may cause different calculation times due to system limitations are as follows:
The download quota will be different in cases where passengers get upgraded/downgraded on the day of departure at the airport or in-flight. The number of downloads increased by the upgrade cannot be traced back.
The booking class does not match the actual cabin class due to a change of aircraft type.
Infinity MileageLands card tier cannot be updated in the system immediately.
The e-book you downloaded will initially open in a web format, please manually download the e-publication as a PDF file on your device.
The e-publications you downloaded will be stored in your device as PDF files. The downloaded ePapers are only for your reading. Please abide by the relevant laws and regulations on copyright and intellectual property rights of the local country.
