EVA Air once again earned top honors at the prestigious SKYTRAX World Airline Awards, taking first place in three categories: World’s Best Premium Economy Class, World’s Best Premium Economy Class Airline Amenities, and World’s Most Family Friendly Airline. Overall, EVA Air secured a total of 18 TOP Ten rankings across various award categories, including these three No.1 honors. The carrier also retained its coveted SKYTRAX 5-Star Airline rating for the 11th consecutive year, reaffirming its longstanding commitment to excellence in safety and service.

Established in 1999, the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards are widely regarded as one of the aviation industry’s most prestigious honors. The awards are based on a global passenger satisfaction survey that evaluates airline products and services, with questionnaires available in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese. The results are closely followed by the global aviation and travel industries and serve as an important benchmark for travelers worldwide.

In addition to maintaining its SKYTRAX 5-Star Airline rating for an 11th consecutive year and earning multiple World Airline Awards, EVA Air has received a series of other international accolades in 2026. Travel + Leisure named EVA Air the No. 1 International Airline in its 2026 rankings. The carrier was also ranked 11th among AirlineRatings.com’s World’s Top 25 Airlines and 8th among the World’s 25 Safest Airlines, while earning the organization’s highest 7-Star PLUS safety rating. 

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the passenger experience and expand its global network, EVA Air will launch a new nonstop service from Taipei to Delhi on December 1. Operating five flights per week using Airbus A330-300 aircraft, the new route will make EVA Air the only Taiwan-based airline offering nonstop passenger service to India.
