EVA Air is upholding its high standards for safety and service and continuing its winning ways to take the top spot in “World’s Best Airport Services” of SKYTRAX’s annual World Airline Award categories.

TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, has revealed EVA Air as a winner in four categories of its second annual Travelers’ Choice Awards for Airlines.
EVA Air added its popular Hello Kitty Hand-in-Hand Jet into its Los Angeles schedule on March 27, 2018. It is using the specially painted plane on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for three of the 21 nonstop flights it operates between Los Angeles and Taipei, Taiwan every week. EVA Air will launch daily nonstop flights between Taipei and Chiang Mai, starting on 1 July, 2018. The airline will serve the route with an Airbus A321-200 configured in Business and Economy Classes for 184 passengers. The new route will give passengers on EVA’s 82 weekly flights from North America more convenient access to the largest city in Northern Thailand via easy, one-stop connections through Taipei.
Star Alliance has launched a Digital Services Platform (DSP) as a first step to an overall enhancement of digital and mobile services offered to customers travelling across the 28 airline member Star Alliance network. The platform was developed and implemented in conjunction with global professional services company Accenture (NYSE:ACN) as part of the Alliance’s strategy to further improve the customer journey.
