EVA Air to Launch Exciting Upgrade for Inflight Wi-Fi Service this July

EVA Air is set to launch a significant upgrade to its in-flight Wi-Fi service this July, offering complimentary access to “Infinity MileageLands” members across all cabin classes. Passengers can enjoy seamless connectivity when the aircraft reaches 10,000 feet cruising altitude. To promote this upgrade, EVA Air plans to roll out a limited-time summer promotion, from July 1 to September 30, 2025, allowing all passengers—members and non-members alike—onboard Wi-Fi equipped aircraft (Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787, and Airbus A330-300) to enjoy free unlimited web browsing Wi-Fi service.

EVA Air Launches Nonstop Service Between Taipei and Dallas-Fort Worth on October 3 Offering 94 Weekly Flights in Nine Passenger Gateways in North America

EVA Air is launching a new service between Taipei and Dallas-Fort Worth on October 3 this year, initially operating three weekly flights. The frequency will increase to five weekly flights starting November 18 and become daily from December 15, raising the total number of weekly flights between Taiwan and North America to 94. This gives EVA Air the greatest number of destinations and the most extensive flight network from Taiwan to North America. This new gateway expands EVA Air’s North American reach to nine passenger gateways, including Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver. The new gateway also makes EVA Air the only airline in Asia operating two destinations in Texas: Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth.

Digital and Sustainable Future with IATA ONE Record Adoption

EVA Air, in collaboration with Evergreen Air Cargo Services Corp. and Trade-Van Information Services Co., has successfully completed the pilot program of the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) ONE Record standard, becoming the first airline in Taiwan to adopt this new framework. ONE Record is IATA’s next-generation digital standard for air cargo, utilizing Application Programming Interface (API) technology to enable real-time, secure data exchange across the global supply chain. This advancement not only enhances logistics transparency and operational efficiency but also significantly reduces paper-based documentation and carbon dioxide emissions, laying the foundation for the digital transformation and sustainable development of the air cargo industry.
