EVA Simplifies Checked Bag Allowances Makes checking luggage easier, eliminates confusion
EVA Air is ending its two-system policy for checked bags, starting on June 23, 2022, making travel easier for passengers. The change ends the weight-based concept EVA has been using for international flights to/from Europe and Oceania and within Asia and increases baggage allowances for passengers on those routes. The airline will apply the piece-based concept for checked luggage on all its flights worldwide, making EVA’s policies consistent with those of its coshare partners and other Star Alliance members. EVA Air recently learned that scammers claiming to be with our company are randomly e-mailing questionnaires, offering cash or miles to trick passengers into providing personal information and credit card details. EVA Air has thoroughly checked all of our operational and security systems and confirmed that there has not been a breach and any other infringement. We are continuing to investigate and work with police to identify the culprits and stop these criminals.

EVA Air Is Committed to Fighting Climate Change Aims for Net Zero-Carbon Emissions by 2050

EVA Offers New Online Automated Check-in Service
TAIPEI, TAIWAN (12 August, 2021) EVA Air is continually working to further improve ground-service quality and convenience, especially now with all the challenges created by COVID-19. Starting Wednesday, 11 August, 2021, it began offering “Automated Check-in,” a new online service for passengers taking international flights operated by EVA and UNI Air that is available as soon as they make reservations and pay for their tickets, as many days in advance of their flights as they wish, wherever they are. The system automatically checks them in for every EVA and UNI flight on their trip itinerary. This new service is available at www.evaair.com or on the EVA Mobile APP.
